I work with people determined to change their lives for the better and organisations understanding the necessity to support and develop their employees with the aim of achieving better results. My role is to support client’s development by jointly exploring the request for change. At the same time I accompany a client in the search for new meanings, while offering to look and analyse situations from different perspectives. The joint work can explore thoughts, feelings, desires, fears, memories, dreams and associations.
As a result of working together, clients begin to notice unconscious processes that influence their behaviours and thoughts. This way they are able to better understand themselves, the unconscious desires and the surrounding environment, which leads to a decrease in anxiety and brings clarity of thought. This enables utilisation of their potential to a greater extent, reaching decisions more easily, coping better with external reality and in general allows oneself to live a more authentic life.
It gives me a great pleasure to see positive changes in client’s development, after emotionally exhausting and at times difficult joint work, when they achieve what previously seemed unthinkable or unattainable, when their dreams are fulfilled and important life moments are reevaluated giving them a resource to continue growing further.
Change represents an integral part of our lives. Sometimes these are happy moments, such as the birth of children, getting a long-awaited job, or moving up the career ladder. Other times, on the contrary, there is a heartbreaking loss of opportunities, loved ones or relationships, sudden layoffs, loss of habitual environment, culture and language associated with a change of residence.
Organisations, just like any other systems, have their own life cycle and therefore, are subject to constant changes. For example, a merger/acquisition of two companies is always followed by a cultural clashes; a similar conflict can be a result of changes, adaptation to new strategy or power struggles between opposing departments in an organisation.
Adaptation always requires a certain amount of time to work through and accept internally, to find a place for the old, that is lost and an acceptance of all that is new and unfamiliar. These periods can be short, if the changes are minor, planned in advance and meet ones expectations. On the contrary they can last for years and have severe consequences. How quickly and painlessly this happens depends on a significant number of factors that are always very individual, so there is no one-size-fits-all solution that works for everyone, even in similar situations. In order to cope with such upheavals more easily and quickly, the help of a specialist – a consultant is often required. Which role the specialist will take on in each specific case will depend on the request, the goal and the desired result.
Please make an appointment for an initial meeting, where we will discuss your request and desired goals. After a diagnostic consultation, I will suggest a suitable format and duration of our joint work.
